Salt Painting Inc. employees get their yearly confined space training.
The training includes; review of regulations, studying work practices, working with air monitoring equipment, practicing with extraction equipment, and taking a review test. Our painters are trained annually in respirator use, ladder use, scaffold safety, equipment operation, electrical hazards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, lead paint removal, fall protection, hazardous materials handling, and confined space.
Tom Campbell (pictured above) recently became certified by the Pennsylvania DEP allowing him to blast, paint, and coat DEP listed tanks, a requirement in Pennsylvania.
Salt painting was awarded the 2009 Associated Building Contractors (ABC) Speicialty Contractor of the Award for the ABC Western chapter.
Salt Painting Inc has recently renewed DEP tank lining certifications for Dick Eglinton (pictured above left) and Don Dean (pictured above right).
This certification is required by Pennsylvania DEP to sandblast, paint and coat the interior of DEP listed tanks. Both Don and Dick have many years
experience in the blasting, coating and lining of tanks.
